I put together a resource packet for you two that will be delivered on Monday (today). The resources in there should be in the order you will need them, and some of them we may not get to but I wanted to send them to you just in case. I tried to include anything we might need before the stay at home order is lifted. You can write on anything that is on white paper. One (I think) resource page is laminated or in a sheet protector--I included a dry erase marker for you to write on those. Please only pull something out when I've given you instructions and don't work ahead without directions. The first resource page (or two) is for a lesson we've already done, but I wanted to include it anyway in case you wanted to use it. Some of those resources took me a long time to make, please take care of them--I do want them back if possible.
Tuesday: 4.2.4: This is the last lesson in the chapter, and is a summary of what you've learned. For this lesson, you will use the puzzle that is on card-stock in your resource packet. You may also use the laminated resource page and dry erase marker. (Please do not write on the card-stock puzzle). The pieces of the puzzle are scrambled. The first on says "I have the start", and the last one says "I have the finish". From there it is an "I have..., who has..." puzzle. So the first pieces says: I have the start, who has.... and then there is a math question. The next piece will have the answer to that question, and then a new question. Do those directions make sense? Your goal is to match the pieces of the puzzle in the correct order to answer each math problem correctly. When you think you have it, take a picture and email it to me. I'll take a look and tell you yes or no, if no, you will need to fix it and send another picture when you think you have it. Alternately, we could zoom and you could show me that way. Then do 99, 101 and 105.
Wednesday: Chapter 4 Closure: 106-115, but skip 108 and 111
Thursday: corrections. Please connect with me on zoom. Let me know as soon as possible what time will work.
Tuesday: Chapter 4 Test. I put this in the resource packet. Please do not do this before finishing the rest of the work from the chapter... Remember that you can work together, and you can use your notes--you each have a different version. I'm trusting you both not to cheat (no book, no internet, no apps). When you're finished, take a picture of each page and upload or email them to me.
Friday: no school--Good Friday. Happy Easter :) Have a good weekend and make good choices.
Remember that we can connect on zoom anytime you have questions--don't hesitate to ask! If it's not during my office hours, just comment on this post (I get notifications on my phone) and we will set a time to zoom that works for you!
